Grey Anti-Rust Primer

Parsilon Grey Primer is an initial protective coating based on alkyd resin and anti-corrosive pigments. By forming a durable, resistant layer on steel and iron surfaces, it prevents rust and corrosion and prepares the surface for the application of the topcoat.

Can be used as an anti-corrosion primer layer on all types of metal surfaces and sections; an ideal choice for priming parts whose topcoat is applied in light shades (white, cream or grey), to prevent shadowing and allow the topcoat to cover faster.

• Neutral paint base that preserves the shade and brilliance of light-coloured topcoats
• Reduces the consumption and number of coats of the more expensive topcoat
• Excellent resistance to weathering, rust and moisture
• Extremely high adhesion to bare iron, creating excellent adhesion for the topcoat
• Very smooth brushability and run-free spraying with a spray gun

1- Clean the surface to be primed of any dust, grease and decay.
2- Stir the primer thoroughly before use and dilute it with Parsilon T1 Thinner.
3- The amount of thinner required varies with the application tool. Under normal conditions, 15–20% thinner by paint weight is needed for roller and brush application, and 20–30% for spray gun application.

Surface dry: 4 hours
Recoat time (next coat): 16 to 20 hours
Drying time may vary depending on temperature and applied film thickness.

Can be stored for up to 24 months in its original unopened packaging in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.

Keep out of reach of children. Store away from heat sources and direct sunlight in a covered, well-ventilated area. If ingested, do NOT induce vomiting; seek medical attention immediately. Ensure adequate ventilation during indoor application. In case of contact with eyes, flush immediately with plenty of clean water and seek medical advice.
