Red Oxide Anti-Rust Primer

Parsilon Red Oxide Primer is an initial protective coating based on alkyd resin and anti-corrosive pigments. By forming a durable, highly resistant barrier layer on steel and iron surfaces, it prevents rust and corrosion, perfectly preparing the substrate for the application of intermediate and topcoat paints.

Designed as a protective primer coat on various steel structures, iron doors and windows, railings, metal profiles, and industrial equipment; providing superior resistance against corrosion, oxidation, and weathering, while ensuring exceptional intercoat adhesion for the finish coat.

Surface Preparation: Thoroughly clean the target surface from all dust, grease, oil, rust scale, and decay.
Mixing & Thinning: Stir the primer thoroughly before use and dilute exclusively with Parsilon T1 Thinner.
Dilution Ratio: The required thinner ratio depends on the application tool. Under standard conditions, add 10%–20% thinner by paint weight for roller and brush application, and 20%–30% for spray gun application.

Surface dry (touch dry): 4 hours
Recoat time (next coat): 16 to 20 hours
Note: Drying time may vary depending on ambient temperature, humidity, and applied film thickness.

Can be stored for up to 24 months in its original unopened packaging in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.

Keep out of reach of children. Store away from heat sources and direct sunlight in a covered, well-ventilated area. If ingested, do NOT induce vomiting; seek medical attention immediately. Ensure adequate ventilation during indoor application. In case of contact with eyes, flush immediately with plenty of clean water and seek medical advice.
